Notes:
We read about sign language in the Girl Scout Handbook. Girls decoded secret Girl Scouts messages. We also signed off on Explore Austin: George Washington Carver Museum. Girls decided what memory they will present at their upcoming performance. They also started making decisions about what kind of performance they'll be doing. We also discussed the Back to School Parade.

Reminders:
Field Trip this Saturday night: Annie. Additionally, girls need to ask around for float materials/laborers to help us construct a float for the August 22 Back to School Parade. If no one has any leads by this Saturday, we will not build a float- we will simply ride in the truck bed with our banner and wave. Float should either be Back to School or Girl Scout themed, can be constructed out of anything we can get our hands on.

Tonight girls should bring a written list of some of their happiest/fondest memories. Each girl will decide which one she wants to perform at our August Court of Awards, to be held August 23 (which is the first day of school.)

We will continue work on our Creative Composing Try It and also discuss our next field trip- the evening of  Sat. 8/7.

Remember to bring Badge Books to EVERY meeting in order to get prompt credit for participation.
We are also in need of snacks/drinks.
