Meeting Mon 4/18

If you have collected any cups for our lemonade stand, please bring them- as well as any costumes or decorations you may have. Girls that were unable to come to our recent Court of Awards will receive their patch bags.

Meeting Plan:

Volunteer Appreciation- It's Girl Scout Volunteer Appreciation Week! We'll talk about the people in our lives that voluntarily help us out.
Lemonade Day program- Go through the Lemonade Day Workbook.
Badge Binder Updates- Please bring your binders!
Bridging Discussion- Bridging vs. Flying Up, How the patch system is changing, Changes to our Meeting schedule, etc.

Note for next week:

The Monday after Easter (next meeting) we will have a troop Egg Hunt. Each girl needs to bring her own basket. Additionally, please bring some eggs (fresh decorated hard-boiled, plastic candy-filled, or confetti-filled cascarones.) While the girls are inside having their meeting 6-6:30, volunteer moms will go outside to hide the eggs.  6:30ish they will hunt and then enjoy their goodies. We may or may not play a game. You may also bring an Easter themed snack to share if you like.

Thursday April 28 is Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. Girls that go to work with a trusted adult and report back to the troop on what they learned will receive a patch- assuming they do not already have the patch. This can also count as and activity towards the Careers Try It.
