Tuesday

Bridging to Juniors!

When: Friday, June 24 6:30pm

Where: ACC Eastview Campus (Go here for map.)
You can take your food/drink contribution to the Reception Room first. It will be in Room 8111 in Building 8000. We will be doing the ceremony on the bridge that connects the two buildings. Everyone should gather at the bridge at 6:30. If you would like to help set up for the reception, arrive just before 6pm.  Below is a highlighted campus map- click on it for a better view.
Parking: There is a lot off Govalle very close to the bridge and Building 8000. You can park anywhere- except in STAFF or FACULTY parking.

Theme: All Bridging badges, regardless of program level, have a rainbow theme. The color for Juniors is "Girl Scout Green."

What to Bring:
Food/drink for the reception. We need entrees and drinks. (Themed food and drink would be fun, but do not feel obligated.) If you know what you want to bring please let me know. See bottom of post for "claimed" items. You will need to provide serving utensils if your dish requires them. There will be about a dozen girls, plus their families. We may have a few girls from other troops. We tend to be short on drinks.
Tupperware or baggies if you'd like to take any extra food home.
Junior vest with name written on tag and insignia properly attached. For a visual, go here. Remember to leave about a 2 inch space between the Council ID and the troop numbers. Our Troop Crest will go in that blank. Do not attach any additional badges to the vest. This will be the one time all the girls' vests are equally decorated.
Camera
A small gift for your own child to show her you are proud of her.

What To Wear:
White top
Khaki bottoms- any kind you want. It will still be hot out so shorts or a skirt would probably be better.
Brownie vests- Things you should move to the Junior vest prior to the ceremony: Blue and gold WAGGS trefoil pin, Any existing membership stars and the corresponding colored disks.

Claimed food/drink List
plates, plastic utensils, 30 cups, pasta salad, goldfish crackers, cake, peanut butter sandwiches, cookies, fruit tray, pies, meatballs or sausages, candy, 10 juice pouches
